UK Tabloid The Daily Express have suggested that X-Files star Gillian Anderson will play a legendary villain in the fifth season of Doctor Who.

Anderson will reportedly play The Rani, a renegade Time Lady, opposite new Doctor Who Matt Smith.

I always figured that Gillian Anderson would be a bona-fide movie star by now.

Ah well.
