Wii MotionPlus To Be Bundled With EA Games!
EA have revealed that he Wii MotionPlus will be packaged with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and Grand Slam Tennis. The peripheral, which will add extra sensitivity to the Wii-Mote is due to be released officially on June 8 with the EA games getting a mid-June release. Square Enix Acquires Eidos!
According to gamesindustry.biz a “court has approved the acqusition of UK games publisher Eidos by Japanese company Square Enix”. Square Enix will officially take over Eidos today, on April 22 2009. The board of directors had officially recommended Square Enix’s £84.3 million bid to shareholders, which was approved by 85% of the shareholders themselves. Today’s court approval and delisting were the final steps in the acquisition, which made the acquisition complete for the creators of the Final Fantasy series. Tweet This Post
Run Like the Wind! New Centurion Pic Released!
Neil Marshall’s upcoming film Centurion has had a new picture released, showing star Michael Fassbender (300) on the run from what look to be angry men on horseback. Considering the boring and samey nature of Marshall’s past flicks The Descent, Doomsday), this comes as a welcome change. The story itself sees a Roman legion venture north of Hadrian’s Wall and encounter some very unfriendly natives. Apparently though, it is also somewhat of a horror movie, with the Romans being picked off in the woods. What am I thinking?
