With N64 classic Banjo-Tooie getting released on Xbox Live on April 29, the development team behind the revamp have expressed an interest in converting more of publisher’s Rare’s back catalog. Paddy Burns, who worked on the Banjo-Tooie port said that he was crossing his fingers in the hope that his team would be allowed to work on Rare titles such as Perfect Dark, Killer Instinct and Jet Force Gemini. I think that we will see a Killer Instinct title on the XBLA in the not too distant future but as for Perfect Dark, I don’t know. Skarsgard Is Not Playing Thor!
Alexander Skarsgard has dismissed rumors that he will be taking the lead in Kenneth Branagh’s adaptation of the Marvel superhero Thor. Claiming he hasn’t been contacted, Skarsgard doesn’t rate his chances of getting a phonecall too highly. Will Ferrell has been talking about making another Anchorman movie. Anchorman: The legend of Ron Burgundy was somewhat responsible for making Ferrell the star he is today and he’s very keen to make a sequel with fellow co-star Steve Carrell. Tom Hanks Gets Green-light For Another Dan Brown Movie!
Tom Hank’s Angels & Demons hasn’t even been released yet but that hasn’t stopped execs over at Columbia from giving the go-ahead to another installment in Dan Brown’s series of books featuring character Robert Langdon.
