Spider-Man 4 To Be 3-D?

Sony Pictures heads Amy Pascal and Michael Lynton have suggested that the upcoming Spider-Man 4 could be filmed in 3-D. Lynton had this to say… “People are paying a premium to see movies in 3-D and that’s a very big deal. It’s never been done before that someone says you have to pay more to see Spider-Man than a romantic comedy.” Spider-Man 4 is set for release on May 6th, 2011. Tweet This Post

Rodriguez To Reboot Predator!

Robert Rodriguez is to reboot the Predator franchise with Predators, for 20th Century Fox. Rodriguez will both produce and direct the reboot which will see a team of commandos face down a mysterious race of vicious monsters. Uncharted 2 To Get Multiplayer And Co-Op!

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will come packaged with both multi-player and co-op modes according to leaked reports from a Sony show. The interesting thing about all this is that the new co-op mode will be separate from the main campaign, as in, you’ll get to play through different levels with a friend that are not available in the single player story. Though it has to be said that I’m not really sure about the multi-player aspect, seems a little tacked on to me. Rumors suggest that the game will be released in September. Tweet This Post

Tom Hanks Speaks about Toy Story 3!

Thanks to Empire and an interview with Tom Hanks, we now have some information regarding Toy Story 3. Hanks said: “I have been in and done three big complete recording sessions and will probably have at least one more to do, possibly in about eight months. Half A Billion EA Sports Games Played In A Year!

As of this week, more than 500 million online sports games have been played since last year. (EA are only counting their ’09 line) This is what EA Sports president Peter Moore had to say… “Online game play allows real-time competitions with fans from around the world who speak the global language of sports. EA SPORTS is committed to providing personal access to the emotion of sports by continuing to create immersive online features, compelling new downloadable content and daily real-time stats updates.” Um, okay… EA also revealed that six separate EA Sports titles have more than 500,000 registered online users with FIFA and Madden both having more than 2.4 million each.
