Scarlett Johansson Directed To Cutting Room Floor!
Poor Scarlett Johansson has had to suffer the indignity of having her directorial debut pronounced rubbish and omitted from a anthology of short stories based in and around New York City.
The project, which is called New York, I love you, is a project that features a number of different stories shot by different directors including Natalie Portman (Luke Skywalker’s Mom) and Brett Ratner (Rush Hour trilogy).
Apparently Johansson’s effort was so bad that one source described it as “unwatchable.”
Oh, and it was filmed in Black and White, which as any film fan knows reeks of a director taking him/herself too seriously.
Although her segment has been cut from the cinematic release it will feature on the DVD.
Personally, I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of the DVD. This is the first time I’ve been excited to see a short film.
