Fox’s Line Up for 09/10 Unveiled!
Fox has unveiled its lineup for the 2009-10 season, which includes the confirmation of two new dramas and four new comedies.
As you’ll probably guess, there are reality shows aplenty these days and Fox isn’t going to miss out. So You Think You Can Dance is the new front runner, with the hope of being as big as the ever popular American Idol. The series – fronted by Cat Deeley – will air its performance show on Tuesday nights and its results show on Wednesdays.
Speaking of American Idol, the show gets a midseason return, with the performance show airing on Tuesdays and the results following on Wednesdays as usual.
Into the drama series; Past Life is back alongside DC Comic-influenced Human Target. The latter will premiere with a special preview on Sunday, January 17th. Also, Tim Roth’s Lie To Me is going to be returning for a second season after the hugely successful House, which is now into it’s sixth season and still going strong.
Nothing is going quite as strong as the ever popular 24 which will now premire it’s eighth season on Sunday, May 17th (in a special 4 hour slot). Also renewed but with little detail besides the fact they will be returning, are Gordon Ramsay series’, Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares.
Sad news for fans of Prison Break and recently axedTerminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles though, you won’t be seeing them this season. Sorry.
