Kirk’s Dad To Play God Of Thunder?

Chris Hemsworth, soon to be in the upcoming Dan Bradley Red Dawn remake, is in final negotiations with Marvel Studios to play the lead role in Kenneth Branagh’s Thor.
Hemsworth, for those of you who can’t quite picture him, played Kirk’s dad in JJ Abram’s Star Trek reboot, and if you still can’t picture him, check out IMDB like everyone else does…
Anyway, Marvel are having a press release on the 25th May to announce the casting.
Thor has a scheduled release for the 20th May, 2011
