According to Tomb Raider 3 producer Dan Lin, Angelina Jolie will not reprise her role as Lara Croft in the next Tomb Raider movie stating that the next Lara Croft will be younger.

Anyway, here’s what he said about the project…

“We’re rebooting Lara Croft. It’s a great origin story that we’re going to tell. Very character-oriented [and] I would say more realistic than the past movies. I think for me the Lara Croft games and movies have gone a little too action-oriented, I wanted to have action, but with character.”

Warner Bros. announced earlier in the year that they would be rebooting the franchise. To date, no exact dates have been offered for the release.
