Zach Braff Heads For Hollywood Once More!
Zach Braff – best known for playing the lovable JD in Scrubs – has recently turned his attention back to Hollywood, signing on to direct, re-write and star in a remake of the comedy flick Swingles with Cameron Diaz.
Swingles centres on Braff’s character being dumped by his wingman, and picking up with a “to-the-point” woman in order to meet eligble bachelorettes. Obviously much comedy and grinding of teeth ensues between the two before a connection is eventually sustained (presumably).
Originally, the script was written by Duncan Birmingham, before being re-written by Jeff Roda (and now by Zach Braff). Sadly, Garden State was not a huge hit, but hopefully Braff can pull it back with New York, I Love You which is due out later this year.
Fingers crossed.
