Capcom’s Resident Evil: Directors Cut, which is basically an enhanced version of the original Resident Evil and was released way back in 1997, is coming to the PSN.

Yep, don’t expect anything in the way of graphical or audio improvements, this is a direct port of the Playstation One classic.

This is the first of a number of high-profile Playstation One games that are expected to hit the network over the coming months. The original Metal Gear Solid is expected to be announced shortly.
