Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is now in post production, and Jake Gyllenhaal has been spilling some gossip on the new flick. Gyllenhaal plays the hero of the games Dastan, who is charged with battling a shadowy cult of assassins called the Hanssansin.

Talking to Empire, Gyllenhaal stated:  “I’m always fascinated with these kinds of stories of the hero’s journey. You’re playing a legitimate hero, you know? I think it’s an honour to do that.”
