Alan Cumming To Play Green Goblin In Stage Show?

X2: X-Men United star Alan Cumming is in talks to play the Green Goblin in the upcoming Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark Broadway show. The show is thought to be the most expensive in Broadway history with a budget of 40 million dollars. Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark opens on Thursday 18th February, 2010 at Broadway’s Hilton Theatre. So this week has seen two of the UK’s biggest reality TV stars – Jordan and Peter Andre – end their marriage. At least until Kerry Katona thinks of something better to get on to the front page of ‘Bored Chav Housewife on Incapacity Benefit Monthly’. I guess now though Jordan will know that when people are shouting ‘look at those tits’ they’ll mean her breasts and not the couple themselves. I can’t help but think it’s a publicity stunt somehow linked to this weekend’s Eurovision Song Contest, and they may dramatically appear onstage singing Buck’s Fizz’s ‘Making your mind up’. Bioshock 2 Nine Minute Demo!

Seriously, I’m still not convinced that Bioshock 2 is something to get excited about. From the new story angle to the fact that it’s not being devloped by the original development team, Bioshock 2 has set off too many alarm bells in my head for me to really get worked up about it. Still, hopefully I am wrong about the game and it will turn out to be just as good as the original. Fingers crossed eh? Ubisoft has began what will no doubt be a lengthy promotion for their upcoming Splinter Cell: Conviction.
