Jekyll And Hyde To Star 50 Cent!
Barely a week after Universal announced that they would be making ‘The Strange Case Of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” director Abel Ferrara has announced that he also is developing a re-imagining of Robert Louis Stevenson split personality classic. For his version, rapper 50 cent and Forest “Ghost Dog” Whitaker will star as the titled characters. The movie will be produced by Brett Walsh and Randall Emmett. Tweet This Post
Remake Alert! Cliffhanger!
I Am Legend and Fast & Furious producer Neal Moritz is remaking Sylvester Stallone’s 1993 climbing adventure movie Cliffhanger. He had this to say on the project… “Just as they rebooted Star Trek, we’re going to do the same with Cliffhanger” This is perhaps one of the strangest ideas of a reboot that I’ve heard in a long while. Green Lantern News Update!
Terminator Salvation star Sam Worthington has been talking about the possibility of starring in the upcoming Green Lantern movie. He had this to say… “I’ve been talking to (director) Martin Campbell about it, It’s one of those things where they’re still doing the script. I said, ‘Give me a script. Let me have a look at it.’ I like Martin a lot. I met him on the Bond stuff, and I like his work, but the second step is, ‘Is it a movie that I’d go and see?’” Sam Worthington seems to be getting a lot of exposure lately but I just don’t see him as Green Lantern material.
