Doctor Who Coming To Big Screen!

BBC films have comfirmed that Doctor Who will be getting a big screen adaptation. According to a BBC spokeswoman, “A script is in development” for a Doctor Who feature. There’s no news yet as to who will actually play the timelord on the silver screen but the fact that it’s coming is exciting enough! Tweet This Post

New GTA IV Episode Named!

Rockstar have announced that the second episode for Grand Theft Auto 4 will be called The Ballad of Gay Tony and is due for release this autumn. Like The Lost & Damned, The Ballad of Gay Tony will set you back 1600 Microsoft points. Another interesting tidbit is the news that both DLC episodes will be available as a retail disc that will not require you to own the original game. Tweet This Post

Resident Evil The Directors Cut Coming To PSN!

Capcom’s Resident Evil: Directors Cut, which is basically an enhanced version of the original Resident Evil and was released way back in 1997, is coming to the PSN. Yep, don’t expect anything in the way of graphical or audio improvements, this is a direct port of the Playstation One classic. This is the first of a number of high-profile Playstation One games that are expected to hit the network over the coming months. The original Metal Gear Solid is expected to be announced shortly. Vertigo Entertainment are rebooting every-one’s favorite teenage Vampire slayer and guess what? It wont be based on the TV series or the movie that went before it. And in an even bigger shocker, Joss Whedon will not be involved. Yep, we’re talking a complete reboot baby!
