Queen Amidala To Play Snow White!

Natalie Portman is being lined up to play Snow White in an upcoming re-imagining of the fairy tale classic. This time however, instead of seven Dwarfs, Snow White will be teaming up with Shaolin monks. Yep, Shaolin monks… Anyway, the first draft of the script was written by Scott Moore and writing partner Jon Lucas. Kirk’s Dad To Play God Of Thunder?

Chris Hemsworth, soon to be in the upcoming Dan Bradley Red Dawn remake, is in final negotiations with Marvel Studios to play the lead role in Kenneth Branagh’s Thor. Hemsworth, for those of you who can’t quite picture him, played Kirk’s dad in JJ Abram’s Star Trek reboot, and if you still can’t picture him, check out IMDB like everyone else does… Anyway, Marvel are having a press release on the 25th May to announce the casting. The new Star Trek film with it’s alternate reality has opened up a new world for the Enterprise. J.J. Abrams has now said that there’s a possibility for the return of William Shatner and maybe the Captains’ old enemy Khan in the sequel. Fox’s Line Up for 09/10 Unveiled!

Fox has unveiled its lineup for the 2009-10 season, which includes the confirmation of two new dramas and four new comedies. As you’ll probably guess, there are reality shows aplenty these days and Fox isn’t going to miss out.
