LucasArts die hard fans (such as myself) were probably extremely dubious when they read this title and heard that Telltale games were making more Monkey Island games. I know that the thought of more CG Guybrush adventures made my skin crawl. I still stand by this (and whatever they’ve done to Lechuck they should undo RIGHT NOW) but even I have to admit that the remake of the Secret of Monkey Island looks pretty freakin’ sweet. The other trailer is for Tales of Monkey Island which is a series of 5 short games which will be released sequentially.

I’m so pleased that they chose to use Dominic Armato’s voice again, he is Guybrush Threepwood. He really made the third game for me – and was the best thing about the fourth game. So much is he a part of it for me that when I went back and played the old games I actually missed the VAing to the extent that I was visualising him saying Guybrush’s lines as they popped up on the screen.
