Microsoft have denied that they are planning on releasing a new version of the Xbox next year.

Gaming website 1UP claimed that the new improved Xbox, which would basically just be a tweaked version of the 360 and would offer backwards compatibility to the existing model.

Anyway, according to Xbox director of product management Aaron Greenberg, who was speaking to Eurogamer, it’s not going to happen anytime soon. Especially not next year.
