Christopher Nolan Won’t Direct Any More Batman Movies?

According to Movie Hole, Christopher Nolan will not direct any more Batman movies.

Apparently, the director had concerns about making another Batman movie due in large part to the overwhelming success of The Dark Knight.

At the moment this is strictly in rumor territory but personally, I expect that it will turn out to be true and someone else will step in to direct the sequel to Dark Knight.

    The late Heath Ledger’s Joker was meant to be the only villain in Batman Begins (2005) with cut and slicked back green hair a whiter face and a narrower red unslashed mouth. then The Penguin (Phillip Seymour Hoffman) and Catwoman (Reese Witherspoon) were ment to appear as the only villains in The Dark Knight. The bat-signal batmobile batcave batsub and batwing from Batman & Batman Returns (1989/1992)
    were also meant to be used in those two movies. Michael Caine’s Alfred was meant to wear a tux and Christian Bale’s batsuits from those two films wear both meant to be made of foam rubber with a yellow utility belt and a yellow ellipse around the chest’s bat-symbol.

    I am actually quite glad that Christopher Nolan’s not gonna sit in the director’d chair and that Christian Bale’s gonna hang up the cape and cowl for any more Batman movies

    I think the opening credits of the next Batman movie that’s coming out in 2011
    should have the matte painting of the Warner Bros shield from 1984-1999 with
    the byline underneath it that reads in capital : A TIME WARNER ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY then it should darken and transform into the classic bat logo from the start of Batman Forever and Batman & Robin with the words: Warner Bros Presents In Association with Legendary Pictures and Syncopy A Christopher Nolan Production A Zack Snyder Film. Sam Worthington should portray a slightly older Batman like Michael Keaton Val Kilmer and George Clooney did but still wear a Batman armour which is in the exact image of Val Kilmer’s batsuit with the nipples black utility belt and smaller more yellow and black bat symbol like the one on Michael Keaton’s batsuits. Batman 3 should also introduce Robin (Zac Efron) Then the fourth Batman should have Ben Affleck donning the cape and cowl wearing a Batman armour in the exact image of George Clooney’s batsuit. The third sequel to 2005′s Batman Begins should introduce Batgirl (Isla Fisher) Mr Freeze (Dolph Lundgren) Poison Ivy (Lauren Conrad) and Bane (Daniel Craig)

    Sequel to the Dark Knight? Wasn’t The Dark Knight already a sequel to Batman Begins? Can you have a sequel to a sequel?

      Do you know, I’ve never really thought of that before. Can you have a sequel to a sequel? Sounded right when I wrote it but now I’m not so sure…
