Universal Pictures has acquired the rights to produce the Larry Doyle novel “Go Mutants!”

Larry Doyle will take up screen writing duties while Brian Grazer will produce.

“Go Mutants!” is a teen comedy set in a school where all the plots from the classic 50′s sci-fi movies came true and years later, the offspring of all those aliens have integrated with the other kids.

Sounds to me a bit like Galaxy High.

Not sure yet if it’s going to be a live-action movie or CGI?
