Weaver Says She Won’t Be In Ghostbusters 3! Who Cares?

Sigourney Weaver has confirmed that she will not be appearing in the upcoming Ghostbusters 3.
Speaking to TV Squad, the actress revealed that she didn’t want to reteam with Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson.
She had this to say on the subject…
“No, I don’t expect to have anything to do with it, although I wish them well. I just did a benefit with Bill and we love working together, but I think they’re trying to create something new completely with the Ghostbusters, although I know Bill is in it. I hope my little son Oscar [from Ghostbusters II] is a Ghostbuster!”
Um, does anyone really care if she’d in it or not?

Such a shame! Didn’t Hollywood learn anything from the recent “Indiana Jones and the Tragedy of The Ruined Franchise”?
There would be a totally plausible and wonderful way to make a third Ghostbusters, but it would need to be the entire original cast. I could even see Walter Peck come back as an antagonist again.
Again, such a shame!
Look This was taking Last year in 2009 when Sigourney thought that she wouldn’t have a Big Role in Ghostbusters 3. Now Sigourney will be in Ghostbusters 3 because she first said on December 2009 that Bill will be a Ghost in GB3 then on 2-8-10 Bill Confirmed what Sigourney said! Read new GB3 Info. because this is old news from 2009! Sigourney’s In GB3 and I’m Glad because she’s my #1 Favorite Actress! Bill’s in too just like the Original GB’s so Everyone’s in GB3 except for Rick! I’m hoping that Annie will be in GB3 too because she was Great in the first 2 Gb Movies!
