Hardware manufacturer Innex have announced that will be releasing a handheld Genesis, which is based on 1995 Sega Nomad.  Called the Retro Gen, it will allow gamers to get their Genesis fix on the go.

As well as supporting cartridges, the Retro Gen will also include an SD card slot for downloading games.

No news yet as to whether or not any new games will be developed for the system but if we all cross our fingers then we might get lucky and get some new Genesis Games.
The Retro Gen hits retailers on July 25 for 50 bucks and unfortunately for those of you in Europe, Innex currently don’t have any plans to release it to you guys.
