Sony Announce New “Broader” PSN Coming!

Sony are going to launch a “broader” version of the much-maligned Playstation Network.

Sony’s Kazuo Kirai, shared his proposals for the new revamp of the network during a recent conference.

He revealed that the new PSN will serve as a connection hub for Multi-Media devices (especially Sony ones) like camera’s and TV’s and will make it easier for consumers to store and share media.

They will also introduce a reward system for brand loyalists which will take the form of discounts and premium services, so if the tech geek in you needed another excuse to fill your house with Sony gear then this is it.

“It’s now a matter of what all the services need to look like for each device, and coming up with a rollout plan, It’s like city planning here, and we can start small. We don’t need to build New York City overnight.”
