Rumors are beginning to circulate that Sony are planning on shipping a Playstation 3 Slim model this fall which will enable them to offer consumers a reduced price PS3.

According to an Ars Technica source, Sony are planning on exhausting all 80gb models of the current PS3 models before announcing the existence of a slim model.
