I always thought Bill Nighy had already starred in one of the Harry Potter movies. I could have sworn I’d seen him in Hogwarts. But, apparently I’m wrong.

Deathly Hallows will be the first Harry Potter movie to feature Bill Nighy.

Speaking to The Independent, Nighy had this to say…

“I don’t think I’m allowed to say it but I’m going to be in the next Harry Potter film, I won’t say which character, but he’s a goodie. I just got the gig.”

I love that, “I don’t think I’m allowed to say it but…” Thank God he’s not working for MI5.

With Bill Nighy’s inclusion in the last installment it is now official that every British actor who has lived within the last six years or so has appeared in a Harry Potter movie.

Yep, it’s lucky for Warner Bros that Deathly Hallows is the last film as they wouldn’t have been able to find anyone to appear in any more.
