Stan Lee To Cameo In Venom Movie!

stan leeIt seems that there’s some unwritten law that stipulates that if you’re making a movie based on a Marvel superhero then Stan Lee must get the option of cameoing in the movie, regardless of whether or not he created the character.

It has just come to light that Stan Lee will be appearing in the upcoming Venom movie which is currently being written by Zombieland writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.

Talking to superherohype, the writers had this to say about Lee’s upcoming role in their movie…

“Oh, yeah. Stan Lee is in it, I feel like that’s the one thing we can say (said Reese). He does appear in our script, and we’re very specific about where he is and why. May he live forever. Let’s hope he’s in many movies to come.”

Let’s hope he’s in many movies to come?

Um, no thanks. Seeing Stan Lee ruins the fantasy of the movie, he’s the one reality that forces the viewer out of the carefully constructed fantasia.

No, Stan Lee, as much as we respect you, stop soiling the movies you helped create. Isn’t it enough that people know you’re name, why do you insist on a visible presence in these movies?

Leave Stan alone. If it wasn’t for Lee, there’d be no superheroes

Stan Lee is just an OAP who needs attention. If he didn’t appear in cameos he’d just piss his pants to get attention and no one wants that, do they?
