doctor whoThere are whispers that a Doctor Who movie will be announced later this month at Comic-Con.

A Doctor Who movie has been rumored for a while now but it seems that everyone is thinking that the project will be confirmed at the end of the month.

The rumors speculate that current Doctor David Tennant will reprise his role in the movie, possibly regenerating into new Doc Matt Smith at the end.

I wonder though, do we need a Doctor Who movie? With the BBC funding it, surely it’s going to look bad on the big screen, I mean, the special effects barely work on the TV screen, how are they going to look in the cinema?

Could a movie version of Doctor Who have a negative impact on the way the series is regarded?

Sounds to me like an unnecessary cash in for the Time Lord.

If it goes ahead, who do you think the main villain will be?

The Master has got to be the favorite though I wouldn’t rule out an appearance by the Daleks.
