Little Big Planet, Nerdles.com game of 2008, is to get a Special Edition version later this year.

Yep, Sony have announced a ‘Game of the Year’ edition which is said to include all of the downloadable content that’s currently sitting on the Playstation Network, so I’m assuming we can expect the costumes and the official levels. Though I must add that specific details have yet to be revealed.

The release date was given as “later this year” which is also what many in the industry believe to the release date of the PSP version, which to me smells like a tie-in of some sort…
