Bioshock 2 Delayed!

bioshockSorry folks but Take-Two have confirmed that Bioshock 2 will be delayed until fiscal 2010.

Yep, one of the most eagerly awaited games of this year now stands a chance of not coming out until next year. Now, the reason I say it stands a chance of not coming out this year is because 2010′s fiscal year actually starts in November so there is a possiblity we may see it before the holiday season which, if I’m honest, would be nice.

Anyway, my suspicion is that they will release it in early 2010 when traditionally there is less competition to battle with.

Spokesman Alan Lewis claims Bioshock 2 will come out in the first half of 2010 but nothing official has been revealed.

Personally, I don’t mind waiting until mid February for it, the first quarter of the year is always poor on the new games front so a tipple A title like Bioshock 2 would be a nice thing to look forward to.

    I agree, I think that every developer just wants to be able to say *includes multiplayer on the box. Like it means something….
    I would rather them ignore the multiplayer component and instead focus on delivering us an amazing single player experience. It’s a waste of resources if you ask me…

    the first bioshock was a fine game even without the online multiplayers. Why should they putting it in now? if it’s ain’t broken, don’t fix it.
