Chow Walks Away From The Green Hornet For Ever!
By
Stephen Chow will not be playing Kato in the upcoming Green Hornet movie.
Originally slated to direct the film as well, Chow will now not participate in the movie in any capacity whatsoever.
This is what the studio said about it all -
“There was a mutual and amicable decision by both sides to move on. We are out now to cast a new Kato and remain fully committed to Michel Gondry’s exciting vision for the film, which will begin production this September.”
I can’t begin to tell you how much I am dreading this movie. From Seth Rogan playing the Green Hornet, to the decision to make the movie a comedy, everything I hear about The Green Hornet gets consistently worse making it impossible for it be anything other than my least anticipated movie of 2010.
Seriously, I wish they would just call time on this project as it will obviously flop.
I just can’t see The Green Hornet doing any kind of Box Office business. Maybe it’s because I don’t like the property in the first place, or it could be because I’m getting ill from my over-exposure to Seth Rogan?
Whatever it is, I get a horrible dirty feeling when I think of The Green Hornet.
And that isn’t healthy is it?
