It seems that Fox are playing a little hard ball ahead of contract negotiations with the Futurama cast.

Apparently, Fox have thrown out a casting call for the roles of Bender, Hermes, Fry and Leela.

Yep, if true, it means that the upcoming new series of Futurama which was recently given a 26 episode order, could air with brand new voices.

Personally, I believe this to be a master-stroke by Fox ahead of what would otherwise surely be tense contract negotiations with the vocal talent.

Now, with the news that Fox are actively looking to replace them, actors John DiMaggio, Phil LaMarr and Maurice LaMarche are sure to be a little less aggressive with their demands.

Hardball 101!

I liked them they way they were! I don’t want a new voice for bender. It was perfect the way it was.
