Sega’s upcoming Iron Man 2 video game will not just take elements from the movie of the same name but also draw from existing comics.

The story for the game has been written by Matt Fraction, and features a brand new narrative which, like I said, takes pieces of its story from the movie and comics.

Anyway, Fraction had this to say…

“A game presents an entirely new challenge, where the audience/consumers/player engages with the world, with the big and small aspects of the place and characters. They’re a co-conspirator in the narrative. I hope it’s as exciting and challenging to play as it was to write.”

For those of you who had the misfortune to play the first Iron Man game, you will probably remember how goddammed awful Iron Man himself was to control, well, we’ve been promised a brand new redesigned control scheme as well as the welcome addition of hand to hand combat.

Personally, I expect this game to only be a slight improvement over the original, which by my calculations still makes the game shit.

But, I could be wrong on this one…
