We’re a bit late on this one but Disney have revealed the name for the upcoming Tron sequel is to be Tron Legacy.

Yep, Tron Legacy…

When I first heard it it sounded lame but it has kinda grown on me.

Still, whatever they decided to call it would have been fine with me. I loved Tron when I was a kid, okay…

Okay, maybe I’m fibbing a little bit, I didn’t love it as in it was one of my favorite movies, it was more that I loved the idea of Tron.

Anyway, I’ll leave you with a quote taken from Jeff Daniels’ speach to the comic-con crowd…

“It’s basically a story about a son’s search for his father. The first Tron, when we made that, … there was no Internet. Cell phones were these big things you carried around in a case. So what you saw was so new and fresh, and I guarantee that you’re going to get that same kind of pop with this one. Everything is going to be supersized…”
