Last year a splendid little game hit the Xbox live arcade that stole hours of my life. In fact, I was so enamored with the bugger that I would think about it even when I was away from my beloved Xbox 360, (my only home-owned console at that time.)

Anyway, long story short, I played that game so damn much it killed my Xbox 360, it bricked it! The old three red lights. Okay, I can’t blame Castle Crashers directly but it was the only game I’d played on the console for like, ten days, so poor Castle Crashers is guilty by association as it were, and ever since I’ve been too scared to play it again…

But…

According to Gamespot a PS3 port is the works.

Yep, Castle Crashers is coming to the PS3 and I will be able to play it again without worrying about the damage it could potentially do to a temperamental console.

So far, developers The Behemoth haven’t said whether or not there will be any exclusive content but I would assume there will be.

I mean, it would be supremely lazy of them to deliver a straight port 12 months later, wouldn’t it?

No actual release date has been given.
