Atari US have announced that their multi-platform Ghostbusters: The Video Game has cleared one million units since its release in the US on June 16.

Of course, the one million comes from all four platforms the game was released on, and only in the US, which unlike the UK  had all the various platforms to choose from, not just a Playstation 3 version to play, thanks to some dodgy dealings between Atari and Sony, but anyway, I digress…

Ghostbusters hitting the one million barrier in the States is pretty big news for fans of the game as it pretty much guarantees a sequel.

Which, for those of you who have played the game, is pretty good news.
