Activision have announced that they plan to release a new James Bond game next year.

The as yet untitled game will be their first since Quantum of Solace.

Now for me personally, I really enjoyed Quantum of Solace on the Xbox 360 even though it wasn’t received very well in the popular press. Built from the Call of Duty engine, it reminded me in parts of the classic Golden Eye, though am I in no way suggesting that the two games are on the same level.

If Activision can build on the work they did for Quantum of Solace, ie;  add more depth, then I’m sure we’ll get our hands on another James Bond video game that’s worth 60 bucks.

It’s been a while since we’ve had one of those…
