Warner Interactive have revealed that the next installment of Mortal Kombat will focus heavily on network play.

Yep, after the solid sales displayed by the recent Street Fighter 4, which received many plaudits for its seamless online experience, Warner Interactive, who only recently acquired the Mortal Kombat franchise after they swallowed up the lame Midway, obviously see great potential in the Mortal Kombat name, especially so after the much respected Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe brawler released earlier in the year.
