Yep, and the news just keeps on getting better, neither Roland Emmerich nor Mathew Broderick will have anything to do with it.

This is very good news for me personally as I was so pumped about the 1998 US version and subsequently so disillusioned with how that turned out.

Legendary Pictures are currently locked in discussions to produce.
