Okay, this maybe a little premature but Kmart and Smears “accidentally” released pre-order details for the PS3 Slim on their respective websites earlier today which gave away some very revealing info on the much-rumored console revamp. Anyway, here goes…

• The PS3 Slim will officially be announced later today.
• It will retail for $300 with the UK getting it for somewhere in the region of £199 to £250.
• It will ship next week which means you could own one by next weekend.
• The 24th August is the actual launch date.
• The PS3 Slim will have a 120gb Hard Drive AND a DualShock 3 controller.
