Seriously, the Shazam! movie has been in development hell for longer than I care to remember. The film adaptation of the DC Comic which featured a teenager named Billy Batson who could transform into the mighty Captain Marvel simply by saying the magic world; “Shazam!” has long been proposed but now it seems that the project has some momentum.

Peter Segal, who directed Get Smart, will helm the project while Bill Birch and Geoff Johns will take up writing duties.

Hopefully this time we’ll actually get a movie…
