We knew it was going to happen and Microsoft haven’t let us down.

They have confirmed that the Xbox 360 Elite’s price will drop to 299 USD and 199 GBP while the 360 Pro bundle is being phased out.

Good news right?

Well…

There is some bad news though,  the Elite unit will no longer come with a HDMI cable, which I think is a bit sucky.

Still, Microsoft had to do something to retaliate to Sony’s recent PS3 price cut.
