Aintitcool.com are reporting that the Green Lantern movie, which is to star Ryan Reynolds and be directed by Martin Campbell is having financial difficulties which has put production on the project in doubt.

Due to shoot in Australia, the Green Lantern movie is apparently suffering financially due to Australia’s strong dollar.

Of course, this is pure speculation at this point though if it is true, I can’t see how it could put a full stop on the entire production.

Surely the producers could up-sticks and find some sound-stage in Eastern Europe or the Far East where the local currency isn’t so punishing on the budget?
