Epic have announced that Gears of War 2 Game Of The Year edition will hit stores next month.

The game will come bundled with all the DLC that Epic released this year which includes 19 multiplayer maps PLUS the bonus single-player campaign mission The Road To Ruin.

Now, here comes the slightly dodgy part, the extra content will not come on the disc but will have to be downloaded separately from Xbox Live which means that if you haven’t hooked your 360 up to XBLA yet, and you already own Gears of War 2, there’s not much point in you buying it.

The reason behind this move is to curtail the second hand sales.

Gears of War 2: Game of the Year will be released on September 18th.
