MTV’s TV reboot of Michael J Fox’s 80′s classic movie Teen Wolf is moving forward according to The Hollywood Reporter who quoted Liz Gateley, who is an exec over at MTV, as saying this…

“It has a fresh take and is very different from the original. It has more of an “American Werewolf in Paris’ feel to it. It’s a dramatic thriller with two best friends in the center who provide a great comedy element. They are two very relatable characters on the outer circles of popular cliques.”

Mmm, not sure about the American Werewolf in Paris link as I didn’t really like that movie, though I’m still somewhat intrigued by the whole thing…

Teen Wolf will be written by Jeff Davis who created Criminal Minds and produced by Prison Break producer Marty Adelstein.
