Sylvester Stallone’s upcoming action flick The Expendables has seen its release pushed back to August 20th, 2010.

It was originally due to be released in April but it seems that the execs over at Lionsgate, perhaps swayed by the amount of attention the movie has received are more comfortable to push it as a summer blockbuster.

The push back probably means that they will now allocate more money to promotion now as next year it’s up against some pretty big names, none bigger than Iron Man 2.
