Guy Ritchie To Make Lobo!

Snatch director and former Madonna husband Guy Ritchie is to direct a live action adaptation of Lobo, DC Comic’s alien interstellar bounty hunter.
The movie, which will be produced by Joel Silver begins production early next year and it has been said that the studio will be aiming for a PG-13 rating which, when you take into consideration that Lobo is a huge-indestructible-motorbike-riding-blue-alien-with-a-mean no-nonsense-attitude, you kind of get the idea of where this project is heading.
IE; development hell.
I’m going to wager that this movie will never see the light of day…

Jason Statham as Lobo, that’s a great idea. Perhaps it could worth though I’m not sure if it will happen now, not with Guy Ritchie anyway, I’ve got a feeling that his stock will go through the roof after Sherlock Holmes and he’ll probably move on to bigger projects…
