It is rumored that Sharlto Copley, who recently played the bumbling hero, Wilkus van der Merwe in District 9 has been approached to play ‘Howling’ Mad Murdoch in Joe Carnahan’s The A-Team.

The South African actor, who has only one movie behind him, is something of a hot property after his role as the bumbling bureaucrat so it does seem likely that the rumors surrounding the Murdoch role do have some substance.
