Hey folks, just thought we’d catch you all up on the news that Walt Disney are going to remake Yellow Submarine with uber-director Robert Zemeckis.

Hot on the heels of Beatles Rock Band which showcased some amazing Beatles animation, Walt Disney went and did a deal with Apple Corps to produce a “3-D performance capture movie”.

This, as any Beatles fan will surely attest; is amazing news and somehow it slipped us by when it was announced last Friday so we figured we’d publish the news late rather than not at all.
