Jeff Bridges a.k.a the Dude is in talks to play Marshal Ruben J “Rooster” Cogburn for Joel and Ethan Coen’s True Grit remake.

If he signs, True Grit will mark the first time that Bridges has appeared in a Coen Brother’s movie since the classic The Big Lebowski.

The original True Grit was the film that screen legend John Wayne won his only Oscar for, it was filmed back in ’69.
