Nerdles.com is sad to report that actor Patrick Swayze has died after battling pancreatic cancer.

The 57 year old actor, who had battled the disease for two years, died in Los Angeles yesterday.

It’s weird, as I was never a fan of Swayze, that’s not to say that I didn’t like him, it’s just that I wouldn’t watch a movie simply because he was in it.

Other than Roadhouse, which funnily enough I watched again for the first time since I was a kid on the weekend, (it’s still ace btw) Swayze’s film choices always seemed to be ones that never particularly interested me, though I do have a soft spot for Steel Dawn.

Even though I never actively followed his career, I will miss him, I guess at the end of the day that’s all you can ask for isn’t it?
