It’s tough being a fan of Superman, I mean, sure, you’ve got the first two Richard Donner movies and a couple of TV series’s of various incarnations that were/are pretty decent but there has never, in my opinion, been anything even remotely approaching classic status.

Before you throw in the aforementioned Richard Donner movies, they were good but not great.

Anyway, it seems that the debate as to which Superman movie is the best is not going to get any new additions for the foreseeable future as Diane Nelson, some VIP from DC Entertainment confirmed that “We actually don’t have any current plans for Superman.”

So, what does this mean for the Man of Steel?

In short, I don’t know, but it doesn’t look good.
